Why and how does Hypnosis work?

Hypnosis works by incrementally taking your concentration to deeper levels in the subconscious mind, in order to gain access to the area that allows recollection of deeply hidden events that are forgotten to ordinary consciousness.

hypnosisThe reason that hypnotherapy produces such wondrous results is because it combines the Science of Psychology, with the real-life tools of Hypnosis. It therefore opens up access to the emotional baggage of past traumatic experiences, and allows you and the hypnotherapist to change your belief patterns. This replaces the old, negative memory with a new foundation for a positive and healthy belief pattern---thereby completely changing your old reaction to the same situation 24 hours a day.

In this example, we see a woman whom I will call Wilma. She could never experience pleasure during normal sexual relations. As a matter of fact, she would feel pain and would sometimes feel numbness in her genital area. Wilma had gone to all the "experts" in sexual therapy, yet had gotten absolutely no results from anything. During Hypnosis, it was revealed that her father had raped her when she was 10 years old, and had threatened her not to tell anyone--or else. Her father and her fear worked so well that she completely buried this memory so she didn't have to face this pain. In Hypnosis, she remembered the experience and using the techniques of reprogramming she was able to root out the trauma, eliminate it, and have healthy relationships with men again. For the very first time in her life Wilma was able to reach an orgasm. After just 5 sessions, she was able to completely eliminate a huge problem that had crippled her life for over 20 years.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is an ancestral heritage we carry since the caveman times in which the main priority for an individual was the physical survival in case of an attack, for example from a dangerous animal. This part of our mind takes decisions automatically and lightning speed based on stored information, principally on things that have occurred in the past and from “logical” conclusions on its own.

In the case of an individual who was attacked by a lion and survived thanks to a formidable leap, the subconscious mind will store such triumph and will place it in a high category to increase his survival probabilities for the next time the person finds himself in danger.

Normally this process works well. The problem is presented because the subconscious mind's logic is too primitive and doesn't take into consideration the variations of the scene in which its applies its knowledge. If the subject in the example was to find itself in danger of being bit by a snake while on top of a giant tree, his subconscious mind would command a spectacular jump, causing him to fall and die.

A single person can have dozens of traumas and negative patterns in the subconscious mind and live all his live confronting imaginary obstacles that seem very real. Hypnotherapy is the most proficient tool known today for cleaning the mind from these negative patterns.

Do I lose control under Hypnosis?

Under normal circumstances the person that gets into a hypnotic trance doesn't loose his or her control because the subject stays conscious and aware of every word the therapist is pronouncing. The subject is able to not to follow directions or even to lie. That would be against the therapy but it shows the kind of control the subject has throughout the session.

Sometimes women are afraid of being touched during Hypnosis and then forced to not to remember it, but that is absolutely impossible, the person will just wake up.

Can I be obligated to do something I don't want to do under Hypnosis?

Definitely no. It is not possible to force someone under Hypnosis to do something that goes against its will or moral principles.

Sometimes female clients fear that they'll be obligated to take off their clothes or do something indecent, but you can be 100% sure that under Hypnosis you are not going to do something that you won't do being awake.

There is no danger either in receiving a hypnotic suggestion to do something incorrect after the session of Hypnosis, unless of course the suggestion happens to be acceptable by the person.

An example would be trying to give post-hypnotic suggestion to a person to rob a bank after the session of Hypnosis. There are two possibilities because there are two kind of people. One kind is honest, decent people and the other are thieves. If the subject is a honest person, he or she is going to reject the suggestion and will wake up immediately; however, if the subject happens to be a thieve, he is going to take the suggestion as a positive one and is not going to reject it.

Does Hypnosis work only on a psychological level or on a physical level too?

It works marvelously in both cases, physically as well as psychological.

The limits of Hypnosis are very difficult to find for what today seems to be a limit, tomorrow is found to be surpassed. In other words, the power of Hypnosis goes as far as the power of the mind and ¿who knows the limits to the power of the mind?

An incredible example of this is the use of Hypnosis to increase the size of women breasts or the size of men penis. The first impression everyone has of this is that this is simply impossible. However once the process is understood, it results a little bit easier to believe that it works. Let me explain it so you can understand how it works.

When a girl begins to turn into a woman when she is around eleven years old, her subconscious mind starts to command the production of hormones and injects them in different parts of the body. The body when receiving this overdose of feminine hormones reacts with the increase and development of the genital organs and breasts, as well as the increase in the hips to permit maternity.

When a woman has completely developed at around the age of sixteen the subconscious mind halts this process of development by reducing the amount of present hormones in the blood as well as the chemical composition.

The development of the breasts is controlled by the ovaries estrogens which production and distribution is controlled by…the mind!!!!

In other words, if we can make the mind believe that it's going through puberty, then it orders the production of the hormones necessary to increase the size of breasts in the woman and that of the penis and muscular tone of the man. Under Hypnosis it is perfectly possible to reach that type of control and is in fact frequently done.

Can I fall asleep in a hypnotic trance and never wake up?

No. This is absolutely impossible.

It's quite rare but, what could happen is that an individual could enter so deeply into a hypnotic trance that once given the suggestion to wake up, the individual would not receive it, however what would happen in that case is that the hypnotic trance would become a normal sleep and the person would just wake up after having some sleep.

But it's a fact that this is a extremely rare case and would only happen if the hypnotherapist is absolutely inexperienced.

Could I die under Hypnosis?

The one requirement for death is to be alive, so if you are alive then you could die at any given moment and under any circumstance. Now, Hypnosis does not create any condition that favors a sudden death.

There is one more thing to have in mind, many illnesses are caused by modern style of life plenty of stress and one could easily say that stress could be the main cause of disease and disease is a major cause for death, in the other hand Hypnosis is achieved trough deep relaxation which is in fact the opposite to stress. This lead us to believe that in fact Hypnosis decreases the chances of dying because it reduces stress and promotes peaceful toughs and emotions.

Does Hypnosis work with kids?

They are actually easier to hypnotize and normally get results faster than adults, but since the tool for Hypnosis is the spoken word, if language hasn't been developed to a certain point it is impossible to hypnotize the kid, at least not in a way useful for therapy.

I do not recommended to hypnotize a child too young, because the subject is not going to be able to understand the process and give its consent to it. Practice of Hypnosis must be responsible and never should violate free will.

We have obtained astounding results with kids, but we limit our practice to kids seven years and older.

Can I force my kid to take Hypnosis treatments?

Under normal circumstances you can't force someone to neither receive Hypnosis nor accept undesirable suggestions.

Hypnosis trance is achieved throughout deep relaxation but you can not force somebody to get into a deep relaxation, it is just the wrong way to do it.

If you want your child to receive Hypnosis your first steep is to discus the benefits of Hypnosis and to negotiate with the kid. Never try to force the child.

What takes place in a typical Hypnosis session?

The first Hypnosis session is always different from the other ones because it's necessary to complete a legal documentation as well as collecting the necessary information to comprehend the client's case. Once this first stage is completed, we move on to the Hypnosis which consists of the following stages.

Stage of relaxation. In this stage the subject is induced to completely relax and to enjoy the session. This stage lasts for about ten minutes and at the end the subject goes under Hypnosis.

Stage of induction. In this stage the desired suggestions are given to the client. If the session purpose is to have a regression then in this stage I bring the subject to a past event to clean the mind of impressions and negative patterns.

Final stage. In this stage post-hypnotic suggestions are given like “once awake you'll feel happy and sure about yourself and feel that you can reach your goals”. After this waking the client is performed.

Application stage. This stage is not carried out in the office but throughout subject's normal life. The individual starts to apply to normal life what was learned during the therapy session. The strength of the suggestions during the session will be felt during this stage. If the person received a suggestion like “every time a new challenge presents you'll feel calm and quickly find a adequate solution”, then the subject will find that problems will no longer worry him and his mind works with clarity helping him to solve the problem.

What is Past Life Regression?

It's a regular Hypnosis session with regressing to the past in which the individual finds himself reliving scenes in where he recognizes himself in another body, another time and an environment different to the one in his actual life.

Regressions should not be done from simply curiosity but as a tool for fixing problems.

There are lots of problems that can be solved with regression to past lives like for example phobias. However regression is not always to a past life, as a matter of fact many Hypnosis sessions implies regressions to recent traumatic events or to childhood.

With frequency people who don't believe in reincarnation find themselves reliving a past life because a trauma from this life was triggered by something during the session. This type of people can heal their traumas and continue with their normal lives, and even keep their skeptical beliefs in which the thought of reincarnation is not acceptable. This has no importance when it comes to seeing results in the therapy.

What are the benefits of Past Life Regression therapy?

Regressions to past lives have are mainly for cleaning traumas left from experiences occurred in past lives. This cleaning result in the elimination of symptoms that are presented in this life, like phobias, inexplicable pains, disability to perform under certain circumstances, unjustified fears, etc.

To help comprehend this, take a look at the following:

A single man, with no kids can't talk in public because he is overwhelmed by an uncontrollable terror, a pain in his throat and the thought that “I can't say anything to anyone because they'll kill my kids”. In regression it was found that he had been a caring woman who had two kids, and had received into her house a foreigner, who in reality was a thief and had brought with him part of his spoils which he buried in the woman's room. The foreigner threatened the woman with killing her children if she told anyone he was the owner of the spoils.

The authorities found the spoils in her house and accused her of being the main thief, then sentenced her to death by lynching. They then took her to the field, tied a rope to a branch and then tied the knot around her neck while ordering her to publicly declare her crime and in exchange she would save herself torturing prior to her death. In horror now in the public she sees the foreigner holding her youngest son on his arms and signaling her with a finger to keep her mouth shut.

Once relieving the emotional baggage caused from this experience and reliving it, finally changing the details that worried the woman, this man was able to detach himself from the fear of public speaking and also from other bothersome problems related to the same trauma.

Don't wait, stop the suffering in your life and book your session now.
